Art of Roof aims to bring style to companies' energy performance
Spectacular and resilient art. Art of Roof, hosted in the Village by CA des Savoie accelerator, offers to add style to companies' energy performance by relying on Cool Roof technology. To support companies toward a sustainable transition, Art of Roof positions itself as a expert in cool roofs in Savoie, combining innovation and aesthetics. Thanks to deep expertise, it helps reduce energy costs while beautifying the urban landscape. This creative approach also raises greater awareness of sustainable development and the importance of energy efficiency.
Cool Roof is a white paint that stores far less heat than the roofs of commercial buildings whose waterproofing is often provided by bitumen… Very black and very hot. The company Art of Roof (or AoR) creates works of art using this technology to offer businesses, big-box stores and industries the chance to cool their buildings while working on their visual identity. After mural frescos, here is roof art — so to speak — and Google Maps will be the gallery.

A paint to cool buildings and combat urban heat islands
Cooling buildings and the city using a paint, while creating « an open-air art gallery This is the other project launched by Aix-based artist and entrepreneur Jean-Bruno Ricard, who also founded a city re-greening collective.
With a long-time friend, graphic designer Jean-Sébastien Plaut, they had the idea to develop a concept that combines art and ecology. In October 2022 the two partners founded the company Art of Roof, with which they plan to repaint building roofs and other urban surfaces. The aim of the initiative: to cool energy-intensive buildings, such as poorly insulated ones, and to combat urban heat islands.
