DESCRIPTION
PRIMATHERM® is a coating based on acrylic elastomer resins in aqueous phase with high solar reflectivity and high thermal emissivity. PRIMATHERM® helps reduce heat gain due to solar radiation. Thanks to an innovative formulation, this coating remains much cooler than any other type of surface under the effect of the sun. It effectively combats the heating of buildings due to solar gain in hot weather.
PRIMATHERM® is primarily intended for the renovation of flat or sloping roofs on industrial, commercial, tertiary and apartment buildings. This type of roof covering is known as a "COOL ROOF".
By significantly reducing heat gain through the roof, premises remain cooler. The problem of overheating due to solar radiation is tackled at source.
In addition to its thermo-reflective performance, this coating protects existing roof waterproofing and extends the lifespan of coated materials (less stress and thermal shock = greater durability).
Must be covered with PRIMATHERM® TCF finish to ensure system durability (dirt and UV resistance).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before use, please refer to the PRIMATHERM® SYSTEM APPLICATION PROTOCOL.
Surfaces: flat and pitched roofs (all types of slopes) - vertical walls (cladding, walls) - intermediate coat on PH169 primer.
Minerals: concrete, fibrocement, slate, terracotta, plaster, etc. Metallic: lacquered steel, galvanized steel, aluminum Bituminous: all types of waterproofing membranes
Plastics and composites: fiber-reinforced polyester, polycarbonate
Substrate preparation
Substrates must be pre-treated with PH169 primer.
Application
Apply in 1 to 2 coats at temperatures between 12°C and 35°C and 3°C above dew point. Humidity must be less than 80%. Apply by roller, brush or Airless spray.
- - Roller application: apply 2 coats (3 to 4 m2/L per coat depending on substrate).
- - Airless: can be applied in 1 coat if humidity is below 70%. Note: humidity above 70% slows down drying considerably.
Precautions / Safety
Clean tools promptly after application (strong adhesion). Close opened packages tightly and store in a cool place.
